While new steakhouses crop up all the time, every area needs that one good, faithful version where the portions are hearty, the service is attentive, the wine list appropriate,and the prices what you expect for all of this. Yet there is something reassuring in all of this. No gimmicks here, just good beef in a clubby setting.
At Barrymore's, the Prime Ribs come in three sizes, the surf and turf will barely leave you room for dessert, and the side dishes are large enough for two, even three. Our cocktails were more then adequate and our service set just the balance between overly familiar and inattentive.
We didn't have room for dessert but from what we could see, they're large and looked yummy! So leave your diet at home when you visit Barrymore's: you won't be disappointed.
